Spring- in Maple Valley

To say that we love it here in Maple Valley is an understatement. We feel so incredibly blessed to be here. We have definitely felt God's hand in our lives guiding us here. Michael is enjoying his job and bikes to work a few times a week. There is a paved trail along the river, paralleling the main road that takes him nearly from door to door. The girls and I run the other direction on the trail nearly every day. We love it SO much! I push the double jogging stroller through the tall trees on the rocky trail while Oaklyn sings to me "This Girl is on Fire" and "This is my Fight Song" among other Disney Princess Medleys. I wouldn't trade these days for anything. We run on the trail to the lake, the park, the library, the store. We run everywhere. The other day I told Oaklyn we were going to the store and she immediately got in the stroller. I wouldn't have thought anything of it, except we were actually driving that day. It was a proud moment to think that I had made "Martin Status" and my kids just assume we are running to our destinations. Blackberry season is just around the corner and thimble berries are already red and sweet, tie-dying Whitley's face and shirt every day.

We made instant friends with our neighbors! We love them so much! Whit and Jess : )

Whenever I do the laundry, Oaklyn wants me to dump it right on top of her so she can warm up and read library books.

Somebody please help, we do not have nearly enough dresses. Seriously, this is only half of them.

Lake Wilderness is seriously only a stone's throw away (If you have a really good arm)

Jess and Naomi, Oaklyn's new older sisters

Is this real life? Did we really move here?!?!

Oaklyn is really good at packing up the stroller every time we need to go somewhere! #NoToyLeftBehind

I don't even know

This is what she does-puts her face right in the muddy water

Easter Party!

My first decoration.

After running to the library one day, we went to the park and read books in the hammock. A random lady came over and asked if we wanted her to take our picture because we were so cute. haha. Sure, why not, I guess we are pretty cute ; )

A lot of this lately. Oaklyn is SO good! She can hold it without the wall for a couple seconds now!

Sister Love

Hopefully this "only wear clothes backwards" thing is only a phase. I'm just glad shes wearing clothes at all. Shes been naked for about two years straight now. #pickyourbattles
