Vancouver BC Memorial Day

We took advantage of rare day-off for Michael and a last chance trip as a family of four and headed North. We took the long and scenic way up to Blaine, Wa to cross the sound on the ferry and go over deception pass. It was all so beautiful. We stayed with Scott and Debbie, Michael's aunt and uncle. On Sunday, we took a day trip into Vancouver BC hoping that traffic crossing the border wouldn't be the death of us (it was actually fine at the hours we crossed, despite the horrific lines we saw the day before). We were also crossing our fingers that I wouldn't go into labor in a foreign country. In Vancouver, we went to church, the salmon hatchery and falls, Stanley park, and ate lots of yummy "Canada candy". Monday we went to Birch Bay searching for sand dollars and playing in the low tide with Scott and Debbie.
