Michael's Marathon

Michael's first marathon is in the books! He ran in the inaugural race of the Pacific Northwest Marathon in Eugene, Oregon. His parents and brother, Matt, came up for the weekend, and our good friends, the Lattins, also came down to cheer. We had much more fun cheering than he had running : )  Michael ran with a guy named Dennis, who he met that morning. Lucky for Dennis, he got more than he bargained for in the cheering department. Michael finished in 4:09, what a stud! I think we can attribute his success to our beautiful homemade shirts, that glow in the dark and can be seen a mile away (literally). Oaklyn's shirt was the best, "Run like a Mother Father!" Oh, and you will probably notice the beard...you can thank Forest Gump for that! : )
