California

Our California trip(s)...where to begin?! To get the longer version, refer to the post about Christmas in Roseburg, but basically we spent a week before Christmas and a week after Christmas in California. We had such a great time!

Kids meal of Champions! Pepperoni and Cheetos!

These two! Meet Belle and Belle.

Taking the Bart in to the City

Almost as big as our Christmas tree at home

Heading into San Francisco

Streetcar!

So much fun at Pier 39

Photobomb!

Oakie never falls asleep like this! ever!
Carousel

Wrestlemania

Oaklyn telling Santa about her very specific wish...an Elena of Avalor dress.

Showing Santa the ornaments

Uncle Matt

We don't always wear matching socks, but when we do, its totally a coincidence.

Not as warm as it looks...

Just me and my girls hitting up The City during Michael's interview

A day in the life. Oaklyn wearing a cape and holding a wand. Plus, the lady's face is priceless!

I love this picture!

Grandma telling the girls about the stories from all the ornaments

"Let it Goooooo!" on Elsa's staircase

At Grandpa Brownie's in Auberry, CA

Oakie loved playing with the little doll house

Grandpa Brownie's shoes - worn out in service.

This is so Oaklyn!
Oaklyn's first drawing that actually looks like something besides scribbles, Clearly is is a mermaid with Rapunzel hair.

Oaklyn had  blast at Mona's! Sarah teaches preschool there, so it was three-year-old heaven!

This is how you play chess with the Lawrence clan

The "Oaklyn Temple" aka the Oakland Temple
It was really special to spend our 5th Anniversary doing a session at the Oakland Temple, where it all began
Redwoods!!

And, just like everything, the pictures never do it justice.

Oaklyn howling: "These trees are HUUUUUUGE!"

I never thought I would be so happy to see this sign. This is how you know you are finally home in Spokane after 3.5 weeks of being on the road with toddlers, going to and fro, living out of suitcases... Dicks Hamburgers - by the bagful...there's no place like home. Keep it classy, Spokane!
