Independence Day!

We enjoyed a little family reunion over the 4th of July in Portland. It wasn't super hot, but it sure was fun! We spent the day at the lake playing in the sand and water and making huge bubbles. Swimming in the hotel pool is always a hit. One night, our parents took all the grandkids to go see "Finding Dory" and the rest of us went to Powell's books... well, ok....Michael and I don't have as much bookstore-endurance as the rest of the crew, so we also went on a run through downtown to the waterfront and across the new pedestrian bridge. We also spent a couple days in Roseburg, OR and went to the Safari! We also celebrated Jack and Oaklyn's birthdays!
