Life with our two girls is great! We love our little family. Oaklyn sure loves being a big sister and "helping" Whitley be happy. Oaklyn is especially concerned about the brightness of the room when we turn on the lights. She will say, "That's too bright for baby sister. That's not a good idea!" and she will run turn them off. Oaklyn is either smothering her baby sister in kisses, or totally ignoring her. (Warning: this is the longest blog post of all time!)
One of these days she will fit into that headband : )
After coming home from the hospital, Oaklyn immediately wanted to share her toys with her.
This girl has yet to touch the floor, and probably never will.
General Conference at its best.
Oh, you know, just making some bullets with Grandpa.
I'm not a photographer by any means, but I took Whitley to the backyard to take some pictures of her on my phone. Of course, Oaklyn wanted to join in the fun. And, as luck would have it, she was already wearing a matching pink dress. I wish I were kidding, but seriously, this is what she was wearing to play outside in the dirt with the dog.
At Pine River Park throwing rocks into the water. The water was seriously FREEZING, but Oaklyn didn't seem to mind, and she outlasted the rest of us by a long shot.
We found a new little nature reserve with trails close to our house. Whitley looks so tiny in the stroller without her car seat!
The next several pictures are from a little carnival at Gonzaga. We got there a little early, so Oaklyn got all the "blow-up jump things" to herself. She was in heaven!
Oaklyn decided to give herself a haircut. Bangs. Right in the middle. At the forehead. Classic. Oh, plus lip gloss all over her face. Nice Touch. Mugshot.
Right in the middle of our walk, Oaklyn, I mean Cinderella, just had to stop for a
little rock climbing sesh.
The "little free library" down the road that we love to walk to
A great compliment to her new haircut is a white-out makeover.
All of my babes. Chillin' on a Sunday night.
We have taken the girls to quite a few track meets over the past few weeks. Oaklyn loves to cheer "Go, Runners, Go!" and loves to get on the track and run, herself
This is her "start" stance

I love these two Goobers!
One month old!
