Cousins

Oaklyn LOVES her cousins Henry and Reid!
A lot has happened since last summer. Everyone is all grown up now. We are already looking forward to 20 years from now when we put all three of them back in the hammock to recreate this scene again.

Warning: Cousin Cuteness Overload!

Volunteering at the Spring Classic Duathlon

On Saturday, we volunteered at the Spring Classic Duathlon just for the health of it! It was freezing, rainy, and windy, but Oaklyn was a champ and cheered on all the athletes with her cowbell. It was so windy that with the bikes gone during the bike leg of the race, the transition area blew away, shifting 10 feet into the road. We spent more time holding down tent posts than passing out water.

Sunny Sunday at Council Crest

It looked a lot warmer than it actually was outside. But, even then, we couldn't resist a sunny day and enjoyed the fresh air.

Our beautiful view of Portland

Eating Cantaloupe like a Boss!

Bring it on, Summer!

She loves to climb on her car seat and she has the bruises to prove it!

 Swingin at the park

Just another day in paradise!

If only we had a dollar for every time we heard "You're daughter should be a model!"

This is what happens when Oaklyn is left with Dad...

Off to the Farmers Market

Believe it or not, some days are cold in Portland!

There is a blue sky in Portland!

On Friday, we had one of those fluke sunny days that come early in the spring to get you excited for summer. For some reason, it was like 20 degrees warmer than any other day this week...or month. We will take what we can get! So, we went to the park to play tennis.

"Soarin! Flyin! There's not a star in Heaven that we can't reach!"

We played girls versus boys and Oaklyn and I totally dominated!

When Oaklyn wasn't playing, she was the line judge.
